An ACCCO representative approached me at my centre as I was (and still am) a room leader to drop some information off about studying with ACCCO. I spoke to the representative who was very knowledgeable. She provided me with a lot of useful information. I spoke to my director and decided to enrol three of our staff including myself with ACCCO. I was studying my Diploma with the other RTO at the time but there were issues with changes in trainers and flexibility that the previous RTO could not provide.

“Hello I am writing to tell you about my journey studying my Diploma of School Age Education and Care. I started my course in July 2017 and have found it very rewarding. I feel the information in the modules are going to benefit me immensely in my work as an Educator.

I have grown in myself and the knowledge I have learnt over the past 17 months has boosted my confidence and given me many great ideas to use in my Family Day Care business. 

Before I started studying I worked at a gym crèche and as a dance instructor teaching primary school children. I am also a Mum of two children – a son and a daughter.

After researching colleges on the internet, I discovered that ACCCO had a good reputation.  They were a local training organisation that offered good service and had been in the industry for 20 years.  The reason I chose to study the Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care is because I want to set up my own family day care business.

My experience with ACCCO was great and the service they provided was exceptional. I found my Trainer Lauren Ames to be very helpful, friendly and professional. She was available at any time of day to guide me with my queries, and was very reassuring. Lauren is a dedicated and knowledgeable person, anyone would love to be trained by. The study resources were very clear and easy to navigate and the evaluation of my assignments was much appreciated. As soon as I finished my work placement, I got 2 job offers and I am currently 5 months into my current role. I feel as though receiving an ACCCO graduate title is much valued in our community.

My name is Jesse, I am an Early Childhood Teacher (with a primary background) who just finished studying my teacher bridging diploma through ACCCO. Throughout my studies, Jessica Gibson was my trainer/assessor. 

I wanted to take some time to offer you some feedback from my experience working with ACCCO's trainer assessor. 

Throughout last year and the beginning of this year Jess has been very supportive. She responded promptly to all of my questions (even though I understand she is quite busy). She was professional, highly informative, flexible, and caring. As I’m sure you know she has a very kind and approachable demeanour, which makes working with her an absolute pleasure. I cannot commend her enough on the way she helped me through my studies, as I’m sure she does for all of her students.
